The Lone Star has massive brand equity and historical weight. Its layout is so simple and effective that it has become synonymous with the state’s identity. Any attempt to "fix" a design this ingrained in the public consciousness would be an exercise in futility.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands throughout Australia on which these federal divisions are drawn and pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
