Terms of service
By using divs.au, you agree to these terms. This site is an independent project provided for historical research and is not affiliated with the Australian Electoral Commission or any government agency.
Accuracy and reconstruction
While every effort is made to ensure that the interactive maps and data accurately reflect historical records, the process of reconstructing archival boundaries onto modern digital frameworks is complex. Maps for earlier eras may be rendered over modern satellite or road geography that did not exist at the time. Discrepancies may occur where historical boundaries relied on physical features that have since changed or where archival records are ambiguous.
User conduct
To maintain site performance and security, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass any security measures or access restricted server directories.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to harvest data in a way that impacts performance or overburdens the hosting infrastructure.
- Use the site in any way that could damage or disable the service for others.
