This is one of the few aesthetically successful flags in the country. The simple two-tone design and high-contrast silhouette make it instantly recognizable from a distance. It’s a clean, effective layout that doesn't need to be touched.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands throughout Australia on which these federal divisions are drawn and pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
