Hawaii state flag redesign
No Change
Design and symbolism
Hawaii's flag is historic and well-designed. Some will disparage the British Union flag being included on a US state flag, but it has a specific historical reason and does not indicate a colonial connection, as Hawaii was never a British colony or territory. Therefore, I keep the existing flag with no changes.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands throughout Australia on which these federal divisions are drawn and pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
