Arizona state flag redesign
No Change
Design and symbolism
The copper star and setting sun rays are aggressive, vibrant, and perfectly capture the desert heat and mining history. While some argue that the star requires fimbriation, I think the copper is distinct enough to stand on its own. The result is a balanced and distinctive design that needs no alteration.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands throughout Australia on which these federal divisions are drawn and pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
